Ceramic coating in South Bend
What ceramic coating does for your car

Water beads off
Rain and wash water bead up and roll off, taking dirt with them, so the car stays cleaner for longer.
A deep gloss
The coating adds a clear, glassy layer that makes the paint look richer and deeper in the sun.
Easier washing
Bugs, road salt and grime have less to hold on to, so washing takes less time and less scrubbing.
Keeps the paint looking new
It helps the paint resist sun fading and light stains between washes, so it keeps looking newer.
How it works
How ceramic coating works
A ceramic coating is a liquid that bonds to your paint and hardens into a thin, clear layer. It is not scratch-proof, but it makes the paint slicker, glossier and much easier to keep clean.
The result depends on the paint underneath, so we wash and decontaminate the car first, and correct the paint where it needs it, before the coating goes on.
- A full wash and decontamination
- Paint correction where it is needed
- The coating on every painted panel
- Time for the coating to cure indoors
- Care advice for the first weeks
- Wheels and glass coated on request

Who it suits
A car you want to keep looking new: a new car before its first winter, paint that has just been corrected, or a car you wash by hand. It works on solid, metallic and pearl paint alike.
Washing still matters
Road salt, bugs and grime still land on the car, but they sit on the coating instead of the paint, so a gentle hand wash lifts them off. Between washes, rain does part of the work.
Tint as well
Thinking about window tint too? We can do both while the car is with us, so it leaves finished inside and out.
What decides the price

We prepare the paint
A full wash and decontamination, then correction where it is needed, so the coating bonds to clean, smooth paint.
We coat and cure it
The coating goes on panel by panel and cures indoors, out of the weather, before the car goes home.
What to bring Just bring the car. When you ask for a quote, tell us its year, make and model and how the paint looks now.
Aftercare Avoid washing the car for the first week while the coating finishes curing, then wash it by hand with a gentle soap and a soft mitt. Skip automatic brush washes, which can leave fine marks in any finish.
Questions
Ceramic coating questions
Is a ceramic coating scratch-proof?
No. It resists light marks and makes the paint easier to clean, but it will not stop scratches from stones or keys.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
With regular hand washing, a coating keeps working for years. How long depends on the coating chosen and how the car is cared for.
Do I need paint correction first?
Usually some. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so we fix swirls and light marks first where the paint needs it.
How soon can I wash my car?
Wait about a week before the first wash so the coating can fully cure.
Can you coat a brand new car?
Yes. A new car is a good time for a coating. We clean off any marks from delivery first, so the paint is protected from the start.
Can you coat the wheels and glass too?
Yes. Wheels and glass can be coated as well as the paint. Tell us when you ask for a quote.
